Meh. I said I liked it because I suspect with the first book, this is just part of a bigger story. Tasya and Rurik were okay. I felt nothing for either of them and really only enjoyed them at the end when they were with the family.
The story was okay. Two people that knew each other before the story started. They both are after the same thing against the same people but for different reasons. There's an adventure where boy gets girl to finally trust him and admit her feelings for him. Blah, blah, blah.
I hear the next book is better.
