Adam Black. Damn.
Well, I finally
finished the book. It's taken me a year to read it. Yeah, I know. How could I have not read this straight away? I couldn't give you an answer.
Since it'd been a while since I read the two previous books, I was a little lost as to what happened before to put Adam in the state he was in. Once he went back to Scotland, Moning did a good job reminding me of what happened with Dageus and Drustan that lead to Adam being in Cincinnati.
Adam in this story reminds me a lot of the Dark Hunter Zarek, just not with the evil attitude.
The ending was perfect and it made me so happy for Adam.
And I've never been ecstatic over happily ever afters.
